Saranssh Sharma

Saranssh Sharma is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer from Delhi, and the founding member of the independent band Kagaz. With close to a decade of live performance experience, he started out as a session musician—playing in the background, learning on the go, and slowly finding his voice through it all.

He’s performed at venues like The Piano Man and Depot48, but his focus has always been more on the connection than the crowd. In 2022, he released his debut solo single Kahani—a simple, honest track about figuring things out as you go. In May 2024, he followed it up with Main Aisa Hun Toh Kyun, co-written and composed with Kagaz—a song about the toxic relationship we often have with our own bad habits, personified as a partner you’re trying to break free from.

Saranssh makes music with straightforward lyrics and memorable melodies—tunes that speak to people trying to make sense of their own stories. His songs aren’t about being perfect; they’re about being real.
