How to search on GigMeUp?

GigMeUp connects artists to places that can host gigs. You can do this by either searching for a specific service or browsing through our collection of services. You can either search for opportunities to perform or search for Artists to perform at your venue. 




How to find a specific service?

To search for all available gig openings, click on all opportunities on our homepage. That will present you a list of all the available gig openings on our platform. You can also sort or narrow down your searches using our filter bar on the left side of the “All Opportunities” page. 

 

How to apply for a gig?

You can browse for gig opportunities using the “All Opportunities” page from the homepage and find a list of all available opportunities. Upon clicking on any one, a new page will open revealing more details of the gig you are interested in. On that page you can click on the “Apply Now” button which will then send your application to the venue you want to apply to. 



How to get quotes?

Upon successful application, a restaurant may contact you if they are interested and they also may release a public listing for artists to apply. They can do so by either the message service on our platform or by contacting you directly through the contact details that you have provided on your profile. Whatever compensation decided is between the artist and the restaurant. GigMeUp does not play any role in deciding the compensation nor do we ask for a cut from the artist. These negotiations will strictly be between the artist and the venue. 

How to accept payments from the venue for a gig?

Any transaction between the venue and the artist is independent of the services provided by GigMeUp. We do not take part in any transaction between the artist and the venue. 

How to register a venue/artist on our platform?

On our homepage, you can press the login/register button which will take you to the registration page. On the registration page you have an option to register with us either as an artist or as an employer. Put in a valid email id and password of your choice along with other details that will be presented to you in the form. Some fields in the form are required fields(*) which means that the particular field is compulsory to fill. 

How to delete your portfolio/profile?

If you want to delete your portfolio, you can do this very easily by going to the user/venue dashboard. On the left hand side, there will be a sidebar where there will be an option to delete your account. Upon clicking that tab, it will ask you to confirm the action by putting your username and your password. Upon doing this, your portfolio will be deleted successfully. 

How to login?

On our homepage, you can press the login/register button which will take you to the login page. On the login page, enter your email id and password. Some fields in the form are required fields(*) which means that the particular field is compulsory to fill.
