Her debut album, “Sanctuary”, which came out in March 2025, pulls the listener into its expansive world with songs that move from despair to dreams to eerie intensity to hope.

Aadya has been carving out a space for herself in the Indian indie music scene since her debut release, “Aisha”, in 2023. She has gathered several notable features under her belt, including full features by The Indian Music Diaries and The Morning Standard and mentions in The Bangalore Times, The Hindu and The Free Press Journal as an upcoming artist to look out for. She was The Indian Music Diaries’ ‘Best Debut Artist’ of 2024 and her music has been aired on the radio in over 38 cities across India.

However, the essence of Aadya’s music – its honesty and soul – is in her live performances, where music turns into more than melody and becomes a landscape that arrests and hypnotizes. Opening for seasoned indie artists like Ankur Tewari, Dot, and Tanmaya Bhatnagar as well as organising and funding two four-city tours for her debut album has helped Aadya hone her act into an experience that is both unnerving and liberating. Having established the visual and acoustic universe of her music through her album, she is exploring the next phase of her songwriting through performances with her band and has secured a label deal with Femme Music for her latest release “Strange New Places”, which came out in Nov 2025.
